Do you struggle finding a good Facebook Timeline cover photo?
With these great timeline cover photos from many different companies, you will definitely find yourself a great timeline photo cover. However…
…Facebook guidelines is what really stop you from your creative, here are some important guidelines:
- You’re can’t to include CALL TO ACTION ask people to buy your service in your timeline cover.
- You can’t upload other timeline cover photo to your own timeline.
- You can’t include contact information such as your email.
- More importantly, you can’t leave ‘LIKE OUR PAGE’ on your timeline cover.
But basically…
…Facebook encourages people to change their timeline cover often, really use their timeline cover photo that’s well represent their brand and not putting it as your big big promotional piece on top of your Facebook page.
However, here are some great timeline covers that can get your creative juices flowing for your own Facebook page.
One of the interesting design in this timeline cover is that they putting together their cover image and their profile image. More importantly, they both have great branding.
This cover seems like they included the Call To Action, but they’re actually not, they’re just let their fans know what’s going happen. Besides, the background is greatly unique.
PhotoShelter has done a great job on the timeline cover photo and it looks pretty great. However, it’d be great if it can design in something that relates more to photo. And have you seen PhotoShelter older timeline cover yet? It’s great.
The Starbucks family, I don’t drink coffee but this timeline cover is so great that gets me feel like I’m also a part of a big family. And I don’t think nobody like to do business with brand instead with people behind brand.
Nice way of showing clothes but in the first image, it quiets blur and I love their clothes style. More importantly, they included an easy question which can get fans attention very well.
Another nice strategy in this timeline is to have fans permission to post fans photo on the timeline cover. This shows that they update very often as they said ‘Fan of the Week’.
As well as that cup of hot chocolate, it creates the look so nice that everybody would love to try it out.
I don’t know how stupid I am, used to eat this when I was young but now I just know it.
Pretzel Crisps Facebook timeline cover photo has a great branding, yummy pretzel, so sweet and small.
Have never drunk this before but lots of friends are like this Dr Pepper and definitely going to dry it out.
As I look around Dr.Pepper update status, you can drink it with any type food that’s dry which might be hard to drink with food that has soup in it.
Angry Birds!
One of the most famous games that billions thousands of people playing it nowadays.
Facebook timeline cover is a great place to brand their new Angry Birds instalment and the adventure continues.
Facebook makes the world connect and easy to make new friends and build relationship. As you compare to the outside world, you can take a very small step on Facebook to actually begin the relationship with someone you don’t know to become a friend.

Well #3 is going to have their timeline photo taken down, I can bet you on that one. No URL’s are allowed and only 20% text so I’m thinking a few of these other ones aren’t going to make the cut either.
That’s the hard part here but they’re still cool. I personally like them all but it’s Facebook that’s making these rules.

Hey Adrienne, I know right that’s why the old timeline cover is better than this. But I think as long as there is no call to action, you can put as many texts as you can.

Nope, the new rules implemented as of last month is 20% text only. They gave some examples so those who are including more than that will eventually get theirs taken down.
